Geosynthetic Design Services
Haley & Aldrich provides comprehensive design services in the rapidly expanding area of geosynthetics applications for landfills, waste containment systems, retention ponds and soil reinforcement.
Adequate interface friction between the various components of cover and liner systems is a critical element in the design of today's landfill and waste containment facilities. With an array of sophisticated testing techniques including a large scale direct shear box, we offer the latest advancements in geosynthetic testing and practical experience in the application of test results in the design of complex cover and liner systems and reinforced-earth structures.
Using the large scale direct shear box, we assist clients to meet ASTM requirements and develop more cost effective design systems by determining shear resistance parameters. Because Haley & Aldrich design each test to simulate actual field conditions, the shear resistance parameters determined can be used in project static and seismic stability analyses with confidence. Our commitment to the advancement of geosynthetics design applications and testing capabilities provides clients with the expertise to successfully address the siting, design, and closure challenges of today's federal and state regulations.
